Process Communication Model

I took a look at the process communication model to, developed by Dr. Kahler’s research.

When we communicate with others, we receive inputs, such as words, tones, gestures, body language etc. We then process this information in our own individual way, and how we respond is down to our past experiences and understanding of the inputs.

When we respond with outputs, such as words and gestures, the person receiving it may respond differently to how we might. Sometimes we don’t understand why people respond in the way they do to there outputs, which ties in with empathy, and trying to understand other peoples thoughts and feelings.
